Micropulse laser (available in our clinics in Gliwice and Rybnik)
Dodano: 2018-10-25You wear glasses, but sight is getting worse? Your eyes hurt, despite the fact that you care about them correctly? You go to the doctor for a check-up, and still don’t know what kind of deficiency do you have? Through the use of micropulse laser, we will help you to solve your problem with vision!
KODILESS 2016 is the author’s program of diagnostics of diseases of the eye and retina, which we will implement. An innovative project based on the use of the technology of special research. To ensure the best quality studies were purchased world-class equipment such as optical tomograph, allowing spectral coherent optical tomography of the retina and optic nerve by Swept Source technology, and 577nm yellow laser with micropulse function . The creators of the program KODILESS 2016 are experienced doctors: Sławomir Bolek, MD, PhD and Marek Rzendkowski, MD, PhD who perform surgery of the retina, vitreous body and cataract.
Yellow laser with MicroPulse function
Centers implementing the program KODILESS 2015 in Gliwice and Rybnik invested in innovative equipment, including the OcuLight IRIDEX IQ Laser with a wavelength of 577nm complete with slit lamp with five magnifications: 5x, 8x, 12x, 20x and 32x and a panel with a color, LCD display. A function of MicroPulse delivers a burst of energy in the micrompulses mode . The one pulse time is in the range from 0.05 MS to 1.00 MS. The advantage of the short duration of the wave is to limit the amount of heat coming into the tissue. In addition, the duration of the break between emissions cause a cooling of the eye area. Using this method, the doctor performing the procedure has more control over the energy that is provided in place of the treatment, which in result minimizes the risk of damage to the eye tissue. It should be noted that the user has full control over the wavelength of the laser and breaks between individual pulses.
